Obituary

Jim "J.B." Bryant, 88 of Bryant's Camp Road in Lancaster, passed away Wednesday, November 15, 2017 at the UK Medical Center in Lexington. Born July 20, 1929 in Lexington, he was a son of the late William & Luverna Gayhart Bryant. J.B. was the longtime owner/operator of Bryant's Camp Boat Dock and the manufacturer of Bassmaster Boats in Lancaster. He had a love for flying his planes and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Lexington. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Billie Walker Barnes Bryant, and a brother, William. His survivors include two sons, Jim (Joyce) Bryant, Jr. and William (Tammy) Bryant, both of Lancaster, two daughters, Mima (Donald) Tully of Danville, Connie (Paul) Raney of Lancaster, a brother, Stanley (Jean) Bryant of Danville, 7 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Private Graveside services will be held in Lancaster Cemetery by Rev. Mike Denny.
