Jimmy "Wormy" Wayne Adams, 67, of Lancaster, passed away Wednesday, June 03, 2020 at Bluegrass Hospice Care Center in Lexington. Born Saturday, May 02, 1953 in Stanford, he was the son of the late J.W. & Ethel Shearer Adams. Jimmy was a truck driver for many years. He was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include his loving wife, Ruby Isaacs Adams, of Lancaster, son; Robert Wayne (Brandy) Adams, of Lancaster, daughters; Teresa Gail (Josh) Cheek, of Lancaster, Robin Lynn (Bucky) Adams, of Lancaster, Lisa Ann Shoemaker, of Lancaster, brothers; Bobby Adams, of Lancaster, Milton "Snookie" (Jennifer) Adams, of Lincoln County, sister; Julia (Mike) Moore, of Lincoln County, grandchildren; Joseph, Dustin, Jacob, Caleb, Ashton, Jeremy, Justin, Caden, Ke'mari, Judy, John, Blanton, great -grandchildren; Dustin, Jacey, Lucas & McKenzie. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, June 10, 2020 at Ramsey-Young Funeral Home with Rev. James Harden officiating, and burial following at Lancaster Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Dusty Skinner, Caleb Skinner, Robert Adams, Gary Hammons, Frankie Hurt & James Robert Prewitt,. Honorary pallbearers include; Bruce Grimes, George Jackson, Kevin Grider, and his grandchildren & great-grandchildren. Public visitation will be held from 5:00PM-8:00PM Tuesday, June 09, 2020 at the funeral home, due to Covid-19 hand sanitizer and mask will be available.
