Obituary

Joann Ball, 79, of Garrard County, widow of Russel Daniel Ball, passed away Friday, April 26, 2019 at her home. Born Thursday, December 28, 1939 in Garrard County, she was the daughter of the late English & Henrietta Kirby Noe. Joann was a member of Forks of Dix River Baptist Church, was a housewife & an avid cross stitcher . In addition to her husband & parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Richard Noe. Survivors include daughters, Russa (Darrell) Edgington, Leslie (Kendall) Barker, Stacy (David) Goldey, Melissa (Cliff Ed) Irvin, all of Lancaster; grandchildren, Logan (Brittany) Edgington, Jason (Nikki) Barker, Ethan (Ashley) Barker, Cade Irvin, Dara (Paul) Purcell, Laura (Andrew) Snowden, Hagan (Justin) Ray, Ramie Goldey, Camdyn Irvin, all of Lancaster, Daniel (Laci) Barker, of Crab Orchard; sister-in-law's, Johnetta (George) Bubnar, of Lexington & Janice Noe, of Junction City. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, May 01, 2019 at Ramsey-Young Funeral Home, with Rev. Jerry Browning & Cole Caven officiating, & burial following at Lancaster Cemetery. Pallbearers include Logan Edgington, Jason Barker, Daniel Barker, Ethan Barker, Cade Irvin, Paul Purcell, Andrew Snowden, Justin Ray & Camdyn Irvin. Honorary pallbearers include Dara Purcell, Laura Snowden, Hagan Ray & Ramie Goldey. Her visitation will be from 5 - 9 PM Tuesday, April 30th at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions go to "Los Brazos de Dios" (The Arms of God), of Forks of Dix River Baptist Church.
