John Wade Walker III, 67, of Paint Lick, passed away Tuesday, September 22, 2020 at his home. Born Thursday, July 16, 1953 in Garrard County, he was the son of the late John Wade Walker II & Virginia Brooks Bell Walker. John was a welder, he enjoyed fishing, bird hunting and cooking. He was a member of the National Rifle Association and a member of Good Hope Baptist Church. He is preceded in death by his parents and a step-mother Louella Walker. Survivors include several cousins and a host of friends. A special friend, Lloyd (Linda) Sebastian, of Lancaster. Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM Saturday, September 26, 2020 at Ramsey-Young Funeral Home with Rev. Jon Proctor officiating and burial following at Paint Lick Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Bill Hampton, Chuck Perraut, Little Moore, Jimmy Tudor, Troy Miller, Doug Coyle, & Wayne Day. Honorary pallbearers include Lloyd and Linda Sebastian, Danny Day, Austin Tudor, Kay Hall, Kenneth Creech, John Wilson & Allen Weston. Visitation will be held from 5:00-9:00 PM Friday, September 25, 2020 at Ramsey-Young Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers can be sent to St. Jude Children's Hospital or Shriners Children's Hospital.
