Joseph F. Edgington, "J.F", 90 of Lancaster, passed away Thursday, October 10, 2019 at His residence . Born January 27, 1929 in Garrard County, he was a son of the late Joseph & Ida Hurt Edgington. J.F. was a United States Army veteran, a farmer and a wood worker. He loved his Lord, his family, his friends & his neighbors. He was of the Baptist faith. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sisters, Mary Edna Sebastian & Rilda Jean Edgington. Survivors include his wife of 70 years, Louise Naylor Edgington, daughters; Barbara (Wayne) Ray, Cindy (Jerry) Rogers, sons; Richard (Lisa) Edgington, Curtis (Deronia) Edgington, grandchildren; Joseph Ray, Hunter Angel, Jennifer Rogers (Mike) Sigler, Jessica Rogers (Toby) McKinney, Richie Edgington (Sara Turner), Emili Edgington (Lucas Chowning) Patricia Edgington (Shane) Burton, Jay (Jessica) Coates, 8 great-grandchildren, brothers; Ollie Logan (Bonnie) Edgington, Jim (Sedonia) Edgington, sisters; Betty (Vernon) Carman, Della Montgomery, Ruby (Chick) Edgington, friend of the family, Amanda Camel, as well as many nieces and nephews. Funeral services for J.F. will be held at 12:00 Noon Wednesday, October 16, 2019 at Ramsey-Young Funeral Home, with Bro. Jerry Browning & Bro. Gary Howell officiating and burial following at Camp Nelson National Cemetery.
