Joseph Alexander Harper, 26, of Lancaster, passed away Sunday, January 22, 2023 at his home. Alex was born September 24, 1996 in Fayette County to the late William "Bucky" Harper & Gwen Caudill Harper of Lancaster.  He was a customer service representative for Maximus in London, he loved his animals, hunting, fishing and especially playing his guitar.

Along with his mother, Alex is survived by four sisters, Carrie (William) Caudill of Mt. Sterling, Dawn (William ) Smith of Hope Mills, NC, Michelle Preston of Louisa, Lisa (Steve) Rogers of Lexington, a brother, William Harper of Paris , one nephew, Aiden Caudill, and two nieces, Dakota Richards and Kaitlyn Smith.

Funeral services will be held 7:00 PM Friday, January 27, 2023 at Ramsey-Young Funeral Home by Rev. Wendell Phelps.  Visitation will take place from 3:00 –7:00 PM on Friday.
