Joseph Jay Kelly, 49, of Nicholasville, passed away Tuesday, February 23,2016 at St. Joseph Jessamine. Born Tuesday, August 9, 1966 in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania, he was a son of Carolyn Hathaway Kelly of Pittsburg, PA, and the late Joseph German Kelly. He was an employee at the University of Kentucky Physical Plant, and was a member of Catalyst Christian Church in Nicholasville. In addition to his mother, survivors include his wife, Ruth Ann Grubbs Kelly, a son; Jaden Wayne Kelly of Jamestown, step-children; Rebekah Henderson & Roger Anthony (Katie) Henderson of Nicholasville, and Nathan (Brittany) Henderson of Lancaster, granddaughter; Peyton Avery Henderson of Nicholasville, brother; Jason (Gwynne) Kelly of Benson, North Carolina, sister; Cynthia Anne (Matt) Hartz of Harrisville, PA, nephews; Matthew & Ryan Hartz of Harrisville, PA, Sebastian & Dylan Kelly of Benson, North Carolina, nieces; Nikita & Arianna of Benson, North Carolina. Funeral services will be 1:00PM Saturday, February 27, 2016 at Ramsey-Young Funeral Home with Pastor David Kibler officiating. Burial will be in Lancaster Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Matt, Ryan & Matthew Hartz, Nathan Henderson, Roger Anthony Henderson, Kyle Becknell, Aron Neal, Jason Kelly, & Jack Martin.
