Kathleen Marie Preston, 81 of Cave Springs Drive in Lancaster, Kentucky, passed away Sunday, June 7, 2015 at her home. Born Saturday, January 6, 1934 in Garrard County, she was a daughter of the late Burdette & Geneva Norman Marshbanks. She was a former employee of Garrard Hospital and a member of the New Antioch Christian Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Logan Preston, sisters; Helen Marshbanks, Edna Mae Marshbanks, and brothers; Gilbert Marshbanks and Robert Lee "Bob" Marshbanks. Survivors include a daughter; Harriett Ann Pingleton of Lancaster, Kentucky, sons; Jerry Logan Preston of Lexington, Kentucky and Richard Allen Preston of Tampa, Florida, a sister; Wanda Long of Harrodsburg, Kentucky, a brother in law, John Paul( Georgetta) Preston; three sister in-laws; Zella B Preston and Reba Cotton, both of Lancaster, Kentucky and Jen Marshbanks of Standford, Kentucky, eight grandchildren; Charles Allen (Heather) Preston, Scott Brandon (Amy) Pingleton, Christopher Lee (Stephanie) Preston, Kevin Logan Preston,Marshall Damon (Amber Michelle) Preston, Tashana Marie Preston, Richard Allen Preston II, Milagnos Marie Preston Lanza, twelve great-grandchildren; Abigail Grace Pingleton, Riley Samuel Preston, Clayton Stone Preston, Gabe Allen Preston, Seamus Scott Pingleton, Janibelle Loraine Preston, Cassandra Danyelle Robbins, Hayley Katherine Robbins, Jesse Kaleb Robbins, Joshua Preston, Julia Preston and Jaeden Preston. Funeral Services will be 11:00 AM Thursday, June 11, 2015 at Ramsey-Young Funeral Home with Bro. Daryl Hodge officiating and a burial following in Lancaster Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Marvin Marshbanks, Mike McQueary, David Adams, Bill Arnold, Linda Ray and Randy Preston. Visitation will be 6-9:00PM Wednesday, June 10, 2015 at Ramsey-Young Funeral Home.
