Katie Sutton Ledford, 89, life long native of Lancaster went to her heavenly home Wednesday morning, May 22, 2014 at 8:30 a.m. after a short illness. Born July 14, 1924 in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late Stephen Louis & Marietta Lawson Sutton and was the widow of the late W.C."Cliff" Ledford and the mother of Brenda L. Burrier and Kathy L. Brogli. She was cherished by four grandsons, Cliff-Ed (Melissa) Irvin, Christopher (Jin) Amon, Jason Amon and J.W. Burrier and two precious great-grandchildren. Katie spent her life taking care of her family and serving in Paint Lick Presbyterian Church as organist and in later years as elder. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Visitation will be 10:00 Saturday morning May 24, 2014 at Ramsey Funeral Home and funeral will follow at 1:30 with Bryce McGowan officiating. Burial will take place in Lancaster Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Heart Association or to Old Paint Lick Presbyterian Church.
