Larry Franklin Browning, 69, of Lancaster, passed away Sunday, February 4, 2018 at his residence. Born August 6, 1948 in Boyle County, Larry was a son of the late Frank & Lillian Moore Browning. He was a self employed truck driver, a farmer, an employee of Southern States and a member of the Forks of Dix River Baptist Church. He enjoyed pulling trucks and was a member of the K.T.P.A. Truck Pulling Association. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, Roger. His survivors include his wife of 51 years, Charlotte Naylor Browning, a son, Shane (Gale) Browning of Lancaster, a daughter, Sharon (Troy) Blair of Berea, and a brother, Jerry (Patti) Browning of Lancaster. He also has four grandchildren, Jessalyn (Brandon) Peel, Evan Dailey, Steven & Lauren Browning and a great grandchild, Clayton Peel. Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Wednesday, February 7, 2018 at Ramsey-Young Funeral Home by Revs. Bill Rhodus, Jerry Browning & Cole Caven. Burial will be in Lancaster Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Kevin Oliver, Jerry Davis, Kenny Curtis, Ronnie Moberly, Danny Purcell & Shane Browning. Honorary bearers will be John Sullivan, Norman Oliver, Russell & Travis Purcell, Ernie Ellis, Ronald Lamb, Manford & David Foley, Kenneth Robinson, Ben Underwood, Brenda & Jackie Powers & Bobby Amon.
