Larry Reed Gibson, 68, passed away Saturday, September 2, 2017 at his home in London, Ky. Born September 22, 1948 in Pikeville, Larry was a son of the late Ervin & Audrey Lee Brewer Gibson. He was a US Army veteran of the Vietnam War, a member of D.A.V. and enjoyed the outdoors and hunting. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, Ralph Webb. His survivors include a son, Larry Oscar Gibson, and daughter, Brenda Lee Robinette , both of Pikeville, two sisters, Glema Lou Smith & Carla Jean Bevins of Pikeville, two brothers, James Lewis Gibson of Akron, Ohio and Darryl Wesley Gibson of Pikeville as well as several grandchildren and great grandchildren. Graveside services will be held 1:30 PM Wednesday, September 6, 2017 at Camp Nelson National Cemetery. Military rites and pallbearers duties will be performed by the Caswell Saufley Post #18 of the American Legion.
