Laverna Bauman, 94, of Lancaster, died Tuesday , May 20, 2014 at the Christian Care Center. Born July 21, 1919 in Decatur, Illinois, she was a daughter of the late Charles & Elsie Wheeler Seitz. She had been an LPN and a member of the Baptist faith. She was predeceased by her husband, Wendell Bauman and a great grandchild. Survivors include two daughters , Joanne (Edward) Kensil of Lancaster, Judy (The late Jim) Baumann of Dunlap , Illinois, two sons, Jerry (Charlene) Bauman of Springhill, Florida & Jim Bauman of Seminole , Florida, 10 grandchildren Jeff, Joel, Nathan, Wendy & Andrew Bauman, John Baumann, Jill Masear, Kimberly Rowell, Laurie Whalen, & Stephanie Raiche and 21 great grandchildren. Graveside Services will be 11:00 AM Friday, May 23, 2014 at North Fork Cemetery in Decatur, Illinois.
