Leoma P. Turner, 96, of Lancaster, passed away on Monday, April 13, 2026, at Fort Logan Hospital in Stanford. Born on December 17, 1929, in Garrard County, she was a daughter of the late Earl & Marie Tipton Preston. Leoma was a former employee for Genesco, and a member of Scotts Fork Christian Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Virgil Preston, David Preston, Kinnaird Preston, infant brother, James Earl Preston; sisters, Nina Gilliam, and Patsy Gilliam.

Survivors include her son, Stephen (Kristy) Turner of Cummings, Georgia; sister, Lavone Ledford of Lancaster, and her grandchildren, Stephen Tyler Turner, and Kristen Nicole Turner.

Funeral services will be 1:00 PM on Wednesday, April 15, 2026, at Ramsey-Young Funeral Home, with Bro. Odis Clark officiating and burial following at Lancaster Cemetery.
