Obituary

Lillian Mae Sebastian Hume, 95 of Lancaster, passed away Wednesday, November 04, 2020 at Landmark of Lancaster. Born Sunday, March 15, 1925 in Garrard County, she was a daughter of the late Virgil & Elsie Long Sebastian. Lillian was a homemaker & a member of Freedom Baptist Church. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, John Earnest Hume; son, Johnny Hume; daughter Bettie Hume; brothers, Herald, William & Paul Sebastian & two sisters, Lois Sebastian Hume & Ruth Sebastian Oakes. Survivors include sons; Ronnie (Loretta) Hume, of Lancaster, Larry Hume, Jeffrey (Angela) Hume, of Adel, Georgia; daughter, Earnestine "Tina" (the late Jim) Daley, of Lancaster; sister, Jane Sebastian Marquart, of Indianapolis, Indiana; grandchildren, Karen Allen, Sherry Hume, Chris Hume, Kevin Daley, Michael Daley & Nicole Allen; great-grandchildren, Jordan Day, Kia Young, Tiana Asberry, Kadie Hume, Keegan Hume, Jules Hale; great-great-grandchild, Steven James "S.J" Young, as well as several nieces & nephews. Funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, November 06, 2020 at Ramsey-Young Funeral Home with Rev. Jerry Browning & Charles Haslewood officiating with burial following at Lancaster Cemetery. Pallbearers include Michael Daley, Kevin Daley, Jules Hale, Jordan Day, John Paul Preston & Jackie Hume. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until service time on Friday at the funeral home. Face coverings & social distancing are required to stay within COVID - 19 regulations. Friends & family may share memories or leave condolences on her tribute wall at: www.ramsey-young.com.
