Lindsey Whittaker, 33, of Stanford, passed away Saturday, May 21, 2016 in Stanford. Born Friday, August 27, 1982, she was a daughter of the late Gary "Smoky" Whittaker, & the late Carol Prewitt Burdine. She was a Care Giver and was a member of Buena Vista Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister; Crystal Kay Whittaker. Survivors include sister; Terry Dunn, of Lancaster, companion; Derek Smith, of Stanford, step-father; Jerry Burdine, of Lancaster, grandmother; Lucille Prewitt, of Lancaster, aunt; Kay Segerlund, of Jessamine County, uncle; Ron Prewitt, of Big Stone Gap, Virginia, nieces & nephews; Bailey Whittaker, Emerie Dunn, & Sassy Taylor. Graveside service will be 12:00 Noon, Friday, May 27, 2016 at Paint Lick Cemetery with Rev. Jerry Browning officiating.
