Lois Jean Clark Richardson, 73, of Lancaster, passed away Thursday, August 20, 2020 at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center. Born Sunday, November, 24 1946 in Garrard County, she was the daughter of the late Joe Francis & Geneva Lee Duncan Clark. Lois worked in retail sales, she enjoyed shopping and loved her family. She was a member of Bluegrass Pike Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter; Terri Jean Sowder, brother, Joe Kinnaird. Survivors include her husband, Charles L. Richardson, of Lancaster, daughters; Lea Anne (Dewey) Edwards, of Stanford, Stephanie Lynn (William) Murray, of Louisiana, brothers; George (Ann) Clark, of Maryland, sisters; Vivian (David) Cotton, of Nicholasville, Donna (Lonnie) Matlock, of Lancaster, sister-in-law, June Clark, of Indiana, grandchildren; Kayla Edwards, Austin Murray, Justin Edwards, great-grandchild; Aubrey Vanhook. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday, August 25, 2020 at Ramsey-Young Funeral Home with Rev. Travis Alltop officiating and burial following at Lancaster Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Dewey Edwards, Anthony Murray, Bill Mullins, Sammy Durham, Kevin Good & Jacob Dunn. Honorary pallbearers include Austin Murray, Justin Edwards, Lonnie Matlock, David Cotton, Austin Murray, Justin Edwards, Harry Howard, John Clark, Rex Speak, Archie Hillard, Jerry Dennis, Jesse Bourne, Cliff Ed Irvin, William David Lamb, Gary Jones & Ray Daniels. Visitation will be from 5:00-8:00 PM, Monday, August 24, 2020 at the funeral home. In accordance with the state mandate, facial coverings and proper social distancing measures will be required.
