Mack G. "Chigger" Hulett, Sr. — 86, of Lancaster, passed away on Monday, September 21, 2026, at his home. Born on November 29, 1939, in Garrard County, he was the son of the late Willie Mack & Pauline Mae Arnold Hulett. Chigger was an analyst at IBM for many years. He was a member of the IBM Club, Jaycees 101 Club, and was a Kentucky Colonel. He and his team at IBM won the 1966 National Softball Championship title. Chigger was an avid Kentucky Wildcats fan and was of the Methodist faith. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Billy Hulett, and a sister, Rebecca Hulett.

Survivors include his wife, Judy Duerson Hulett of Lancaster; son, Mack G. Hulett, Jr. of Lancaster; daughters, Lisa (The late Herman) Elam, and Teri (Brad) Pike both of Lancaster; brother, Walter T. (Phyllis) Hulett of London; sisters, Ella (The late Jim) Morgan of London, and Paulette (Ronnie) Casey of Athens, Georgia; grandchildren, Thad (Shania) Hulett, Macy (Nam) To, Haden Pike, Ali (Curtis) Morris; great-grandchildren, Rhett Hulett, and Reagan Morris, and his beloved Border Collie, ”Polly”.

Visitation will be held from 5:00-8:00 PM on Thursday, September 24, 2026, at Ramsey-Young Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, September 25, 2026, at Ramsey-Young Funeral Home, with Mr. Wheeler Hulett officiating, and burial following at Lancaster Cemetery. Pallbearers include Elroy Hulett, Rusty Clark, Robbie Long, Jeff Asbury, Jeff Ray, Billy Morgan, Roy Gibson, and Chad Becknell.
