Margaret Dean Osborne, of Lancaster, 94, passed away on Sunday, April 24, 2022 in her home. Born Thursday, November 10, 1927 in Madison County to the late Lawrence & Ida Ruth Lane Tackett. She was a former seamstress for the National Casket Company and Cowden's & Redwing. Margaret was a member of the Lancaster Church of the Nazarene.

Aside from her parents, Margaret is preceded in death by her husband, U.S. Osborne, brothers, Herbert Tackett and Doug Tackett, and sisters, Geneva Moore and Elsie Moberly. Survivors include sons, Roy Lee (Rebecca) Osborne, of Lancaster, and Wendell (Adele) Osborne, of Trigg County, a daughter, Ruth (the late Hubert) Norris, of Lancaster, a brother, Floyd (Ann) Tackett, of Richmond, sisters, Ruby Spears, of Berea, and Phyliss Ruble, eight grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren,   nineteen great-great-grandchildren, and seven great-great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, April 30, 2022 at Ramsey-Young Funeral Home with Rev. Daryl Hodge officiating and burial following at Lancaster Cemetery. Pallbearers include the grandsons & granddaughters. Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 8:00 PM on Friday, April 29, 2022 at Ramsey-Young Funeral Home.
