Mary Elizabeth Ray Hulett, 92, of Sutton Lane, passed away Monday, July 31, 2017 in Lancaster. Born March 22, 1925 in Garrard County, she was a daughter of the late R.T. & Maude Clark Ray. She was a homemaker, farmer and a member of the Maple Avenue Church of Christ. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Calvin M. Hulett, Jr., a brother, Tom Ray, a sister, Rose Holtzclaw and a grandchild Leigha Hulett. Her survivors include a daughter and two sons, Raye Ann Clark, Calvin "Rusty" Hulett III and Rodney Wayne Hulett, all of Lancaster, three brothers, Collis & Donnie Ray of Lancaster, Bill Ray of Somerset, a sister, Bobbie Ruth Chadwell of Florida, eight grandchildren, eleven 11 great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Thursday, August 3, 2017 at Ramsey-Young Funeral Home by Minister Isaac Hall with burial following in Lancaster Cemetery. Pallbearers will be J.K. Simpson, Noah Hulett, Aaron Keith Hulett, Trevor Clark, Brian Ray & Justin Statom. Honorary bearers will be the beloved nieces & nephews of the Ray & Hulett families and the members of the Maple Avenue Church of Christ.
