Mary Jo Shearer, 68, of Sandy Hook, Kentucky, formerly of Stanford, passed away Saturday, December 15, 2018. Born Wednesday, May 24, 1950 in Danville, she was the daughter of the late Joseph E. & Sally Mary Cox Robinson. Mary was a homemaker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Hansel Shearer. Survivors include her daughter, Crystal Lee Amaya (Victoria Cagle) of Sandy Hook; brother, Ed (Mildred) Robinson, of Richmond; grandchildren, Alex (Katie) Amaya, Heaven (Jeremiah) Amaya Collins, Brooklyn Stevens, Lawryn Stevens, Koalbryn Stevens, & two great-grandchildren , Jeremiah Jacob Collins II, & Hope Dehaila Elizabeth Collins. Graveside services will be held 2:00 PM Friday, December 21, 2018 at Danville Memorial Gardens, with Rev. Darrell Estes officiating and burial to follow.
