Mary Francis Hardwick Spillman, 89, of Lancaster, passed away Friday, October 24, 2014 at the Christian Care Center in Lancaster, Kentucky. Born on Tuesday, December 9, 1924 in Garrard County, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late Leland Hardwick, & Maggie B Hurt Hardwick. Mary was a retired beautician and dog groomer, and was a member of Eagles Nest Baptist Church in Fruitland Park, Florida, and was also a member at Graceland Baptist Church. Mary loved flowers and enjoyed cooking. She was preceded in death by her husband; Paul M. Spillman, a son; Paul Wayne Spillman, three brothers; Willie P. Hardwick, Benjamin Franklin Hardwick, Leland Hardwick Jr., and one sister; Minnie Pearl Lane. Her survivors include her brother, Charles Hardwick (Mary), of Lancaster, and a grandchild; Paul Spillman, of Arizona. Mary brought joy to herself by helping others, and loved gospel music. Services for Mary will be held 1:00 PM Monday, October 27, 2014 at Ramsey Funeral Home by Revs. Daryl Hodge, and Bryce McCulley. Burial will follow on Tuesday October, 28 in New Albany, Indiana at Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 11:00AM-1:00PM Monday, October 27, at the funeral home.
