Michael K. Barrett, 56, of Lancaster, passed away Sunday, August 16, 2015, at his home. Born March 20, 1959, he was the son of Edward Barrett of Lancaster and Louise Saylor Barrett. He was a member of the Nazarene Church of Lancaster and a graduate of Eastern Kentucky University. Survivors include a son, Alex-Edward Clay Barrett of New York; a brother Darrell Barrett of Lancaster; a sister Debbie (Willie) Hoskins of Lancaster; and a niece Olivia Stafford of Stanford, nephews; Spencer Barrett, of Lexington, Kentucky, Tanner Barrett & Jeff Hoskins of Lancaster, and Josh Hoskins of Florida. Funeral services will be held 11:00 am, Thursday, August 20, 2015 at Ramsey-Young Funeral Home by Rev. Leon Thomas, with burial following in Lancaster Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Spencer & Tanner Barrett, Jeff Hoskins, Jerrid Wade, Eric May and Barry Metcalf. Honorary bearers will be Vivian Roark, Anny Murphy, Mary Jane Stempfly, Virginia Thomas, Brenda Powers, Barbara Moore, Gail Duggins and Josh Hoskins.
