Mildred League, 76, of Fisher Ford Rd. in Lancaster, died Friday, July 11, 2014 at her residence. Born January 24, 1938 in Garrard County, she was a daughter of the late Frank & Lilah Mae McGee Cook. She was a retired employee of Ephraim McDowell Medical Center where she worked in Dietary Services, a farmer and a member of Pleasant Grove Christian Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Frances Durham & Margaret Leigh. Survivors include her husband, Earl League, a son Danny (Tammy) League of Lancaster, a brother, Phil Cook of Danville, a sister, Nancy Jett of Frankfort, three grandchildren, Nathan League, Crystal Logsdon & Randy Henry and six great grandchildren. Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Tuesday, July 15, 2014 at Ramsey Funeral Home by Rev. David Shoot with burial following in Lancaster Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Danny & Nathan League, Randy Henry, Jason Logsdon, Mark & Michael Cole. Honorary bearers will be Amos & Janice Sharp , David & Calvin Durham.
