Minnie Mae Thomas LeMay, 77, of Frankfort, formerly of Lancaster, died peacefully in her home on Sunday, June 23, 2019. Born Wednesday, April 29, 1942 in Danville, she was a daughter of the late Nellie Marie Jones and Herbert Cecil Thomas. Minnie was married to the late Stanley Herron LeMay. She was preceded in death by her son, Randy LeMay; and sister, Judy Thomas. Minnie is survived by her daughter, Shawn (Louis) Gehlhausen; son, Greg LeMay; brother, Ronnie Thomas; grandchildren, Ryan Gehlhausen, Courtney (Christopher) Birnbaum, Sarah LeMay, Shelby Gehlhausen, Catherine LeMay, Adam Gehlhausen, and Jessica Boone; and great-grandchild, Blayne Boone. Friends and family can pay their respects at the visitation on Thursday, June 27 from 7:00-9:00 PM at Ramsey-Young Funeral Home, 315 Richmond Street, Lancaster, (859) 792-2621. A funeral service will take place at 11:00 AM on Friday, June 28 at Ramsey-Young Funeral Home with Bro. Daryl Hodge & Nathaniel Sallee officiating, and burial following at Lancaster Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Ryan Gelhausen, Adam Gelhausen, Blayne Boone, Christopher Birnbaum, Nick Kaminski & Justin Ramirez. Honorary pallbearers include Nick, Zach & Ricky Shelton. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Minnie's memory may go to, Hospice of the Bluegrass and/or the Alzheimer's Association.
