Morris Caudill, 86, of Lancaster, passed away Monday, September 26, 2016 at Christian Care Center. Born Thursday, February 27, 1930 in Salyersville, Kentucky, he was a son of the late Hobart & Hattie Adams Caudill. He was a farmer, a former employee of Cowden's & Jackson Furniture, was a U.S. Army veteran, a member of D.A.V., & was of the Baptist faith. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sisters; Helen Litteral, Sybil Conley, brothers; Max & Paul Caudill, & grandchild; Pam Bauer. Survivors include his wife, Alberta Sparks Caudill, sons; Kenneth (Phyllis) Caudill, of Lexington, Jimmy (Barb) Caudill, of Jamestown, Billy Caudill of Lancaster, brother; Murl Caudill of Stanford, four grandchildren, & seven great-grandchildren. Funeral service will be 11 AM Thursday September 29, 2016 at Ramsey-Young Funeral Home by Rev. Gary Durham with burial following at Lancaster Cemetery with full military rights performed by The American Legion, Caswell Saufley Post #18.
