Norma Jean Rhodus, 89 of Paint Lick, passed away Saturday, August 11, 2018 at Berea Health & Rehabilitation Center. Born Wednesday, June 05, 1929 in Richmond, she was a daughter of the late Jesse & Gladys Channey Howard. Norma Jean was a homemaker, a member of Level Green Christian Church & a member of "Daughters of the American Revolution" (DAR). In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her late husband, James Harold Rhodus. Survivors include son, James (Doretha) Rhodus, of Paint Lick; daughters, Laura Caudill (Donald) Elam, of Stanford, Kathy (Rev. Richard) Ginn, of Lucasville, Ohio; seven grandchildren & thirteen great-grandchildren. Funeral service will be 12 noon Wednesday, August 15, 2018 at Ramsey-Young Funeral Home with Rev. Richard Ginn officiating and burial following at Madison County Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers include Travis Stamper, Kevin Rhodus, Paul Snyder, Butch Caudill, Pam Snyder, Bobby Mullins & Austin Fuson. Visitation will be held from 11:00AM until service time on Wednesday, August 15, 2018 at the funeral home.
