Ola Hopkins Chambers-Stotts, 92 of Garrard County, passed away Sunday, December 17, 2017 at home surrounded by loved ones. Born Sunday, August 30, 1925 in Harlan County, Kentucky, she was a daughter of the late William Victor & Molly Hopkins. Ola was a home-healthcare nurse for many years, & was a member of Bryan Station Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Clifton Chambers. Survivors include a son, Gary (Linda) Chambers of Lancaster; daughters, Linda (Tom) Southworth of Garrard County, Debra Chambers of Paint Lick, & Joan Bryant also of Garrard County; sister, Christine Hopkins of Lancaster; grandchildren, Shaun Southworth, Michelle Holeman, Heather Britton, & Amanda Vaughn, as well as five great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Thursday, December 21, 2017 at Ramsey-Young Funeral Home with Bro. Lester Tirey officiating and burial following at Lancaster Cemetery. Visitation will be 12 Noon until service time on Thursday, December 21, 2017 at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contribution may go to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
