Orval Harold Hill, 76, of Lancaster, passed away Tuesday, September 15, 2015 at the Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center in Danville. Born Wednesday, November 30, 1938 in Calvin, Canada, he was the son of the late Harold & Lorna Whalley Hill. He was a bush pilot & a truck driver, enjoyed traveling, flying & was a fan of UK Basketball. He was of the Baptist faith. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Eddie Hill. Survivors include his wife, Carolyn McKinney Hill, of Lancaster, sons; Jeff (Angie) Hill, of North Bay, Canada, Donald Turner, of Madisonville, Kentucky, Mervin (Bonnie) Chicquen, of North Bay, Canada, Tim Hill, of Canada, daughters; Cynthia (Steve) Mitchell, of Mitchellsburg, Kentucky, Angela (Steve) Appleman, of Campton, Kentucky and a sister; Dorothy McCarthy, of Canada. Funeral service will be 2:00 PM Sunday, September 20, 2015, at Ramsey-Young Funeral Home. Burial will be 1:00 PM Monday, September 21, 2015 at Eaton Cemetery in Clay City.
