Obituary

Patricia Baker Shearer, 73 of Lancaster, passed away Friday, March 09, 2018 at Baptist Health Hospital of Lexington. Born Sunday, November 19, 1944 in Garrard County, she was a daughter of the late James F. "Jim", & Edith Preston Baker. Patricia was a housewife, & was a proud member of the Lancaster Church of the Nazarene. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Henry "H.C." Shearer; a son Michael Shawn Shearer, & a half-brother, David Preston. Survivors include her son, Johnny Travis (Jennifer) Shearer of Lancaster; daughter, Tammy Lynn (Steve) Robinson of Lancaster; brother, James (Linda) Baker of Lancaster; sisters, Sue (James) Poynter, , Billie Jean (Roger) Tillett, & Judy (the late Jimmy) Lowery, all of Lancaster, Jo Ann (Jackie) Tudor, & Bonnie Gail (Billy) Denham all of Stanford; grandchildren, Zachary, Whitney & Ethan King, & Brett & Blake Shearer, all of Lancaster; great-grandchildren, Jacob Linton, Nathaniel King, McKenna King, as well as numerous nieces & nephews. Funeral services will be 10:00 AM Tuesday, March 13, 2018 at the Lancaster Church of the Nazarene, with Bro. Leon Thomas, & Rev. Dwayne Lobb officiating, & burial following at Lancaster Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Zachary King, Ethan King, Whitney King, Brett Shearer, Blake Shearer, Wendell Osborne, & Shane Robinson. Honorary pallbearers include the entire church family of the Lancaster Church of the Nazarene. Visitation will be from 5:00-8:00 PM, Monday, March 12, 2018 at the Lancaster Church of the Nazarene.
