Paul Jansen East, 69 of Lancaster, passed away Tuesday, June 6, 2023 at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center in Danville. Born Monday, August 17, 1953 in Garrard County, he was a son of the late Archie Dean "A.D." & Bernice Olive Coffey East. Paul was a tobacco farmer who enjoyed hunting & fishing. He was an avid story teller and was always the life of the party. He enjoyed spending time with his friends & family as well as his special dog, Zoey. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers, Tom & Allen East.

Survivors include his wife, Pamela Fae Koon East, of Lancaster; sons, Jason East & Sean Tyler (Courtney) East, both of Lexington; daughters, Kelly Jane East, of Lexington & Tabitha Nicole (Christopher) Boyd, of Lancaster; brother, Jeff East, of Danville; grandchildren, Miranda & Nathan Butler, Lauren Babbs, Haven, Jamie, Maddie, Kylie & Ashton Dean East.

A celebration of life will be held from 2:00-6:00 PM Wednesday, June 14, 2023 at Ramsey-Young Funeral Home. Paul's wishes for cremation have been honored.
