Randell Lewis Brackett, 60, of Hamilton Street, Lancaster, Kentucky, passed away Wednesday, May 14, 2014, at his home. He was the son of the late Thomas Martin Brackett and Floria Cleo Chadwell Brackett and was born September 3, 1953, in Bloomington, Indiana. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Benny Brackett. He had been an employee of Cowden's Manufacturing in Lancaster and was a member of St. Paul's Predestinarian Baptist Church. Survivors include four sisters, JoAnn (James) McCulley of Lancaster; Betty (Jack) Powell of El Paso, Texas; Christine (J.W.) Tyree of Lexington; and Tommye Lynn (Gene) Middleton of Madison, Mississippi; a sister in law, Lillian Brackett of Lancaster and several nieces and nephews. A graveside memorial service will be 11:00 am Saturday, May 31, 2014 at Fairview Baptist Church Cemetery with Pastor Barry Bowman officiating. There will also be a memorial service held 6:00 PM Sunday, June 1, 2014 at St. Paul's Predestinarian Church on Campbell St in Lancaster. Both services are open to family and friends.
