Randy Bruce Stinnett, 64, of Stanford, passed away Friday, January 03, 2020 at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center, surrounded by his family. Born Friday, April 29, 1955 in Nicholasville, he was a son of the late Melvin & Thelma Rose Miller Stinnett. Randy was a former employee at Gulf States for 22 years. He was an avid UK fan, enjoyed deer hunting, golfing & fishing. Randy was of the Pentecostal faith. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Ruthanne Bates. Survivors include his loving wife of 24 years, Pam Cornelius Stinnett, of Stanford, sons; Dustin (Mary) Phillips, of Waynesburg, Kevin (Shawna) Phillips, of Stanford, siblings; Bobby (Faye) Stinnett, Roanne (Wayne) Stinnett, & Florence Stinnett, all of Nicholasville, Mickey (Georgeanne) Stinnett, Sandy (Bill) Sexton, & Rita (Chuck) Dillard, all of Lancaster, 9 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, & a host of nieces & nephews. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM, Tuesday, January 07, 2020 at Ramsey-Young Funeral Home, with Revs. Jim Cook & Bryan Montgomery officiating, & burial following at Lancaster Cemetery. Pallbearers include Gavin Phillips, Brett Stevens, Brian Adams, Brandon Adams, Cory Weddington, & Roger Simpson. Honorary pallbearers will be Steve, Morgan, Matt & Michael Joe Stinnett, John Sexton, Brad Cobb, Ryan Weingrof, Charles Melvin Dillard, & Shane Dean.
