Rebekah L. Schnitzler, 65 of Stanford, passed away Sunday, January 08, 2017 at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center in Danville. Born Wednesday, June 13, 1951 in Garrard County, she was a daughter of Florence Broughton McQueary of Stanford, & the late William "Joe" Lay. She was a homemaker. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by sister; Pamela Peters, & infant daughter; Terella Schnitzler. Survivors other than her mother include her husband; Bill Schnitzler, a daughter; Tonya (Roy) Coleman Jr. and a grandson; Morgan Coleman. Funeral service will be 1:00 PM Thursday, January 12, 2017 at Ramsey-Young Funeral Home. Burial will be in Double Springs Cemetery in Waynesburg. Pallbearers will be Jeremy Garrison, Johnny Williams, Roy Coleman, Jr., James Cunnagin, Nathan Broaddus, & Matt Sneed. Honorary pallbearers include, Larry Wheeler, Barbara Broaddus, Harold Cunnagin, Roy Coleman, Sr., & Roger Schnitzler.
