Ricky Lynn Burkhart, 70, of Lancaster, passed away  Friday, March 19, 2021 in Lexington.   Born Wednesday, April 19, 1950 in Garrard County, he was a son of the late  Virginia Pearl Denny. Rick was the owner /operator of Ricks' Wrecker Service and enjoyed collecting many things, including Nascar & Jeff Gordon memorabilia, guns and knives.

His survivors include his wife, Donna Goins Burkhart of Lancaster, two daughters; Tonya (Sam) Watkins and Tammy Burkhart, both of Lancaster, four grandchildren; Brittney (Robert) Mann, Cassidy (Chance Lane) Watkins  , Nate Watkins & Tate Burkhart, and one great grandchild, Colton Thomas Mann.  Brothers and sisters include Garnett (Lisa) Clarkson of Danville, Tony Denny of Stanford, Jimmy (Christy) Denny of Lancaster, Sandy (John) Stephens of Russell Springs, Patricia Mobley and Debbie Combs of  Lancaster, and Ruth Morgan, of Lexington. Also important to Ricky, he also leaves behind his dog, Flash, his many cats and his bird, Smarty pants. Funeral services for Ricky will be 11:00 AM Friday, March 26, 2021 at Ramsey-Young Funeral Home, with burial following in Lancaster Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5:00—8:00 PM Thursday, March 25th  at the funeral home. In accordance with state mandates, facial coverings are required for all those in attendance.
