Rita K. Broughton, 62 of Narrow Gap Rd., passed away Thursday, June 08, 2017 at her home surrounded by her family. Born Tuesday, September 28, 1954 in Seymour, Indiana, she was a daughter of the late Arthur & Margaret Bruner Miles. She was a former employee of Christian Care Center where she worked as a Nutritionist, & a member of Paint Lick Church of God. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son; Justin Broughton, daughter; Rachel Broughton, & brother; Robin Miles. Survivors include her husband Ricky Broughton, son; Chad (Tabitha) Broughton, of Stanford, daughters; Shaina (Anthony) Jones, & Kayla (Ryan) Hunt, all of Lancaster, brothers; Roger (Shannon) Miles, & Rollan Miles, all of Waynesburg, sister ;Becky (Mike) Todd of Waynesburg, grandchildren; Jonah Broughton, Kassidy, Haley & Dylan Hunt, & Nathan, Sara, Kiley, & Harley Jones. A memorial service will be held 3:00 PM Sunday, June 11, 2017 at Paint Lick Church of God. Rita's wishes for cremation have been honored.
