Roberta Lee Bolton Prewitt, 88, of Cowden Ct. in Lancaster, died Thursday, June 5, 2014 at the Golden Living Center in Stanford. Born February 13, 1926 in Garrard County, she was a daughter of the late Edward & Maggie Della Gilliam Bolton. She was a retired employee of the Palm Beach Factory, and a member of Beech Grove Baptist Church. Her survivors include her husband, Nolen Prewitt of Lancaster, a son, Nolen Bruce (Margaret) Prewitt of Clinton, Tennessee, a daughter, Connie C. Young of Lancaster, a sister, Almedia Vaught of Lancaster, three grandchildren, Steve Young, Shane Prewitt & Marcia Mask, six great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. Services will be held 12 Noon Monday, June 9, 2014 at Ramsey Funeral Home by Rev. James Tipton, and Rev. Bobby Greene, with burial following in Camp Nelson National Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Steve, Brad & Kendall Young, Shane Prewitt, David Bolton & Dan Waters. Honorary bearers will be the men of Beech Grove Baptist Church.
