Ruth Ann Garlic, 91, of Cave Springs Drive, Lancaster, Kentucky, passed away Friday, July 25, 2014, at St. Joseph Hospital in London. Born Wednesday, September 6, 1922 in Sullivan, Indiana, she was a daughter of the late Ceril Ben Downen and Ethel Ford Downen and was a homemaker. Survivors include her husband, William Loren Garlic of Lancaster, KY; a son, Bill (Linda) Garlic of Graham, North Carolina; two daughters, Gayle (John) Eagin of Hutto, Texas, and Janine Garlic of Lancaster, KY; two brothers, John Downen of Madeira Beach, Florida, and Carl Downen of Crawfordsville, Indiana; a sister, Doris Branstetter of Crawfordsville, Indiana; five grandchildren, Michelle McClanan, William Garlic, Matthew Eagin, David Eagin, and Suzanne Eagin; and six Great-Grandchildren, Conner McClanan, Ian McClanan, Sean Eagin, Patrick Eagin, Bryce Eagin and Lauryn Eagin. A celebration of life service will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, July 29, 2014 at Ramsey Funeral Home. Visitation will be 11:00 am until the time of service on Tuesday, July 29, 2014, at Ramsey Funeral Home.
