Ruth "Midge" Ison, 53, of Lancaster, passed away Tuesday, April 21, 2015 in Lexington, Kentucky. Born Saturday, July 22, 1961 in Garrard County, she was a daughter of the late Tat Turner & Ruth Hazel Vandyke. She was a member of St. Paul Predestinarian Church and attended Garrard County Adult Day Care. Survivors include her companion; William K. Dismeaux, a son; Montez (Sarah Vickers) Ison, a daughter; Megan Dismeaux, all of Lancaster, three grandchildren, Sophie Mounce, Cortez & Isaiah Ison, and three step grandchildren; Seth, Sydney & Shelby Grace Ousley, brothers; Paul (Margi B.) Vandyke of Danville, Melvin (Liz) Ison of Harrodsburg, Butch Ison of Lancaster, Curt (Sharon) Ison of Lancaster, a sister; Vivian (Davey) Logan of Lancaster, an uncle; Anderson Ison, an aunt; Janette Ison, as well as a host of nieces, nephews , and other family members. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 Noon Saturday, April 25, 2015 at St. Paul Predestinarian Church in Lancaster by Pastor Barry Bowman with burial following in Duncantown Cemetery. Casket Bearers will be, Neill Logan, Davey "Pookie" Logan Jr., Davian Logan, Daylan Logan, Ralph Van Dyke, Devan Logan, Brandon Mounce, Tony Palmer and Garry Vickers. Honorary Bearers will be Rosolan Jones, Nicole Norris, Cindy Logan, Kristi Blackford, Cedric Leavell, Sis Logan, Cecilia VanDyke, Lesley Houston, Jenanette Huffman , Pauline Black, Paige Harper, Isaiah Ison, Cortez Ison, Seth Ousley and Alicia Logan.
