Sammy Burnette Miller, 80, of Lancaster, KY, passed away Wednesday, June 11, 2014 at the Christian Care Center in Lancaster. He was a son of the late William Burnette and Janie Belle Ramsey Miller and was born August 19, 1933 in Garrard County. He was a member of Lancaster Baptist Church and Lancaster Lodge 104 F&AM. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Bob and James Lewis Miller. His survivors include his wife, Patsy Hulett Miller; two daughters, Roxane (David) Humphrey of Lancaster and Paula (Ron) West of Charlotte, North Carolina; and a grandchild, Jordan West. Services will be 11:00 AM Saturday, June 14, 2014, at Ramsey Funeral Home with Rev. Gary Durham and Dr. Harold Best officiating. Burial will follow in Lancaster Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Felix Johnson, Jordan West, Roy Floyd, Bobby Young, Lonnie Tillery, Tim Gettler, Steve Hamblin and Bill Moore. Honorary Pallbearers will be Bob King, Paul Greer, Melvin Bailey, Buddy Grimes, Ralph Sebastian, Emit Long and Bob Dietrich. Visitation will be 5:00-9:00 PM Friday, June 13, 2014, at Ramsey Funeral Home with Masonic rites at 7:30 PM at the funeral home.
