Sharon B. Montgomery, 61, of Nicholasville, passed away Saturday, December 17, 2016 at her home. Born Friday, April 29, 1955 in Lexington, she was a daughter of the late Willie Burkhart, & the late Shirley Brown Robinson. She was a homemaker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brother; Randy Robinson, a grandchild; Brayden and a nephew, John Lunsford. Survivors include her husband, David Montgomery, son; Christopher (Marion) Burkhart of Danville, daughters; Melisa Burkhart & Patricia King, both of Nicholasville, brother; Mark (Regina) Burkhart, of Kings Mtn., sisters; Sheila (Johnny) Lunsford, of Nicholasville, Darla Miller, of Lancaster, grandchildren; Brandon, Kacy, Cassie, McKenzie, Rylee, Chance, John, & William, great-grandchildren; Hudson & Lane, and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be 2:00PM Thursday, December 22, 2016 at Ramsey-Young Funeral Home with Bro. Josh Fayne officiating and burial following at Lancaster Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Christopher Burkhart, Brandon Montgomery, Rod Whittaker, Coty Collins, John Allen, Woody Embry, & Mark Burkhart. Honorary pallbearers include John & William King, McKenzie Brown, & Cassity Burkhart. Visitation will be 4:00-8:00PM Wednesday, December 21, 2016 at Ramsey-Young Funeral Home.
