Shawn Christopher Hurt, 37, of Lancaster, passed away Sunday, December 06, 2020 at his home. Born Wednesday, March 23, 1983 in Somerset, he was a son of Frankie Hurt & Reba King (Billy Joe) Dailey. Shawn was a security guard, & a United States Army veteran. Survivors other than his parents include a daughter, Rayna Kay Hurt, of Lancaster; step-daughter, Kailey Cox, of Lancaster; brothers, Frankie Lee Hurt, & Johnny Wayne Hurt, both of Lancaster, Chad Nicholas, of Ft. Hood, Texas, as well as several nieces & nephews. A funeral service will be held 12:00 Noon Monday, December 14, 2020 at Ramsey-Young Funeral Home with Rev. Dallas Johnson officiating & burial following at Camp Nelson National Cemetery. Full military honors will be conducted by Caswell Saufley Post#18 of the American Legion & the United States Army. Public Visitation will be from 10:00 until 12 Noon Moday at the funeral home.
