Mr. Shirley B. Bruner, 95, of Nicholasville, passed away Saturday, August 8, 2015 at Central Baptist Hospital in Lexington. Born Friday, June 18, 1920 in Jessamine County, he was a son of the late Jesse & Elizabeth Stinnett Bruner. He was a life long farmer and attended The Church of God & Wesley Church in Nicholasville. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Helen Crank Bruner & a daughter; Mary Bruner. Survivors include two sons; Floyd (Lana) Bruner, of Indianapolis, Indiana, Vernon Bruner of Crab Orchard, two daughters; Brenda (Bill) Woods, of St. Petersburg, Florida, Martha Barnes, of Nicholasville, two brothers; Luther Bruner & Homer Bruner, both of Nicholasville, one sister; Roberta Perkins of Nicholasville, six grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren & five great-great grandchildren. Funeral Services will be 1:00PM Tuesday, August 11, 2015 at Ramsey-Young Funeral Home with Rev. Brad Johnson officiating and a burial following at the Pentecostal Fellowship Cemetery. Visitation will be 11:00AM Tuesday, August 11, 2015 until service time at the funeral home.
