Stanley Herron LeMay, 85, husband of Minnie Thomas LeMay of Frankfort, Kentucky, passed away Mon., Jan. 19, 2015. Born in Lancaster, Kentucky, to Amon and Leano East LeMay, Stanley was a machinist at IBM for 34 years. A Korean War veteran, Stanley served in the U.S. Air Force as an airplane mechanic from 1950-54, earning four medals. He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, John LeMay; and one son, Randy LeMay. Stanley is survived by his wife; two children, Shawn (Louis) Gehlhausen of Frankfort and Greg LeMay of Cinn. Ohio, ; daughter-in-law, Cindy LeMay of Lexington; nine grandchildren, Jessica (Tracey) Smiley, Maegan (Joe) Holland, Cori (Buddy) Yeager, Ryan Gehlhausen, Courtney LeMay, Sarah LeMay, Shelby Gehlhausen, Catherine LeMay, and Adam Gehlhausen; four great-grandchildren; two nieces and one nephew. Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday, January 23, 2015 at Ramsey Funeral Home in Lancaster, with visitation Thursday from 5-7 PM at the funeral home. Burial with military honors will follow at Lancaster Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Adam & Ryan Gelhausen, Mike Dean, Nick Shelton, Joe Holland, Buddy Yeager, Christopher Birnbaum & Cody Nolin.
