Steven Lee Jones, 35, of Cartersville, passed away Friday, October 30, 2020 at Fort Logan Hospital. Born Wednesday, May 01, 1985 in Lexington, he was a son of Deanna Jones Peavler & the late Dallas Richard Helton. Steven was a farmer and a heavy equipment construction worker, he was a member of the Harmons Lick Church of God. He is preceded in death by his father, Dallas Richard Helton, brother; Brandon Scott Helton, sister; Brooke Sargent, grandfather; Mike Coffey. Survivors include son; Rian Jones, of Richmond, daughter; Kenzie Jones, of Richmond, mother; Deanna (Ronnie) Peavler, of Stanford, brothers; Matt (Sekeita) Jones, of Somerset, Jimmy Joe Helton, of Cartersville, Cody Helton, of Cartersville, sister; BreAnna Sargent, of Stanford, maternal grandmother; Martha Coffey, of Cartersville, paternal grandparents; Dallas & Audrey Helton, of Cartersville, aunts; Melissa (Larry) Nicely, Tammy (Roy) Cope, Melissa (Donnie) Combs, Jeannie (Emmitt) Johnson, Kristie (Danny) Rawlins, cousins; Dallas Nicely, Dalton Nicely, nephews; Braxton Jones, Richard James Helton, nieces; Brooklyn Means, Blesynn Jones, a special friend Becky Reynolds. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, November 04, 2020 at Harmon's Lick Church of God with Rev. Billy Bryant officiating & burial following at Helton Family Cemetery in Cartersville. Pallbearers include Matt Jones, Brandon Broughton, Michael Cope, Misty Damrell, Dakota Means, Kevin Sargent, Derek Causey, Ray McCollum & Chad Broughton. Visitation will be held from 5:00-8:00 PM Tuesday, November 03, 2020 at Ramsey-Young Funeral Home & from 11:00AM until service time on Wednesday, at the church.
