Sue Margaret Brumett, 76, of Lancaster, passed away Thursday, December 30, 2021 at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center in Danville. Born Monday, July 09, 1945 in Garrard County, she was a daughter of the late Louis & Lucille Goins Grimes, Sr. Sue was a homemaker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Preston "Bill" Brumett, and a sister, Shirley Clark.

Survivors include a son, Russell (Doris) Brumett, of Stanford; daughters, Teresa (J.D.) Gross, Lisa (Edward) Gross, Evelyn (Jeff) Greer, all of Crab Orchard, Roxanne Brumett, of Paint Lick; brothers, Roy Grimes, of Nicholasville & Junior Grimes, of Lancaster; grandchildren, Amanda (Doug) Saylor, William (Keliegh) Gross, Chris (Jessica) Gross, Angela (Toby) Gross, Cody (Brittany) Harmon, Matt Harmon, Russell Jr. Brumett, B.J., Chris, Robby & Chad Tinnel; great-grandchildren, Addilyn Johnson, Kaylynn Johnson, Bailey Gross, Taylor Downs, Josh Saylor, Jake Saylor, Zachary Gross, Braxton Gross, Bennett Gross, Ava Harmon, Caleb Harmon, Kayden, Julien & Tinnel.

Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM Wednesday, January 05, 2022 with Bro. Daryl Hodge officiating. Pallbearers include Cody, Matt, William, Chris, Toby & Anthony. Honorary pallbearers include Matt Harmon. Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM until service time on Wednesday, January 05, 2021 at the funeral home.
