Sue Ann Davis, 65 of Deer Run in Lancaster, passed away Sunday, January 14, 2018 at the UK Hospital in Lexington. Born Tuesday, June 24, 1952 in Garrard County, she was a daughter of the late Link & Myrtle Powell Stump. She was a college graduate, with a degree in Medical Technology, & practiced as a Medical Laboratory Technologist. She was also a member of Good Hope Baptist Church, & was an active supporter of the Garrard County High School Marching Lions. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a brother, Donald Stump, & a sister, Patsy Austin. Survivors include her husband, Billy Wayne Davis of Lancaster; son, William Creager "Creag" Sutton, Jr. (Lavena) of Lancaster; Laura Link Sutton (Aashi Deacon) of Lancaster; brother, Phillip (Virginia) Stump of Lancaster; Katherine Darby of Nicholasville; grandchildren, Valerie & Jerrica Sutton, & Carter & Edmond Deacon. Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Friday, January 19, 2018 at Ramsey-Young Funeral Home with Rick Stump officiating & burial following at Lancaster Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Steve Austin, Brad Adams, Shawn Darby, Ronnie Horn, Nick Stump, & Tim Garwood. Visitation will be 5:00-8:00 PM Thursday, January 18, 2018 at Ramsey-Young Funeral Home.
