Sue Lear Moberly, 64, of Lancaster, passed away Wednesday, July 22, 2020 at her home. Born Wednesday, August 31, 1955 in Garrard County, she was a daughter of the late Sherman & Omie Delaney Lear. Sue had been a farmer most of her life and was of the Pentecostal faith. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Donnie Ray Moberly, two brothers, Harvey & Henry Lear, sister, Minnie Coleman, and a grandchild, Bridget Key. Survivors include two sons, Ernest (Cathy) Lear of Stanford, Hubert (Lynn) Lear of Cartersville, two daughters, Peggy (Matt Dailey) Buford & Jennifer (Evan) Seagraves of Lancaster, two brothers, James & Charlie Lear of Lancaster, and a sister, Ivia Davidson of Kirksville. She also leaves behind grandchildren; Mareese Buford, Kaitlyn Hicks, Blake Baker, Mason Seagraves, Austin Seagraves, Caitlin Lear, Makayla Lear, Haley Hickle, Tyler Hickle, Kaycee Prickett, great-grandchildren; Ariat Buford, Armonte Buford, Brantley Eversole, Keiton Hunn & Maci Key. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Monday, July 27, 2020 at Ramsey-Young Funeral Home by her son, Rev. Ernest Lear, with burial following at Lancaster Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Ryan Napier , Blake Baker, Steven Baker, Evan Seagraves, Matt Dailey & Richard Davidson. Visitation will be from 3:00-5:00 PM Sunday, July 26, 2020 at the funeral home. In accordance with the state mandate, facial coverings and proper social distancing measures will be required.
