Tammy Jo Fain, 55, passed away on Monday, October 4, 2021 at St. Joseph East Hospital in Lexington, Kentucky. She was born to Joyce Merritt Meadows & the late Robert E. Meadows on Friday, July 15, 1966 in Garrard County. Tammy worked as a school teacher in Paint Lick where she retired after 32 years. She was a faithful member of the White Lick Baptist Church and spent her free time doing yard work, gardening, and time with her family.

Aside from her mother, Tammy is survived by her husband, Mark Fain, of Lancaster, a son, Mark Jacob (Ceara) Fain, of Paint Lick, a daughter, Taylor (Brett) Dowell, of Paint Lick, a brother, Ralph E. (Regina) Meadows, of Lancaster and three grandchildren, Luke Fain, Logyn Fain, and Beau Dowell.

Visitation is Thursday, October 7, 2021 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Ramsey–Young Funeral Home. Funeral services for Tammy will be Friday, October 8, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Ramsey-Young Funeral Home with Reverend Dave Stewart officiating. Burial will be in Paint Lick Cemetery. Pallbearers include Garry Fain, Gene Hughes, Scott Isaacs, Matthew Jackson, Dylan Jackson, Barry Fain, and Colt Meadows. Honorary pallbearers include Jennifer Thompson, Carolyn Noe, Jennifer DeBord, Regina Meadows, Ashley Meadows, Emiley Meadows, and Haley Meadows.
