Tammy Hardwick Land, 59, passed away on Wednesday, March 6, 2024, at her home. She was born to the late Willie P. Hardwick & Betsy Tipton on Sunday, July 5, 1964, in Danville. Tammy was in poor health for many years, but had a giving heart and loved helping others when she was able.

Aside from her father, Tammy is preceded in death by a fiancé, the late Danny Freeman; and a sister, the late Vicki (Kirk) Judy. Survivors include her mother, Betsy Tipton; a daughter, Destini (Matthew) Elkins, of Georgetown; a sister, Sandy (the late Joe) Duff, of Stanford; nephews, Justin (Jenna) Judy & Joey Duff; a niece, Jessica (Alex) Johnson; several great nieces & nephews; and a host of caring aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Tammy's wishes were to be cremated and have her ashes spread in one of her most treasured places from childhood. Family will honor these wishes in a private gathering.
