Thelma Mae Broughton, 87, of Lancaster passed away Tuesday, November 20,2018 at her residence. She was a daughter of the late David Benjamin Lamb and Laura Murphy Lamb. She was a homemaker for many years. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband; Dillard Broughton, five brothers; Virgil Lamb, James Lamb, Willard Lamb, Alfred Lamb, and William Lamb two sisters; Liza McQueary and Edna Neely. Survivors include two sons; Carlos "Butch" Broughton and Dillard Lee Broughton both of Lancaster, two daughters; Frances Hinds of Lancaster and Freda (Sonny) McGuffey of Stanford and two brothers; Cecil Lamb of Ohio and Raymond Lamb of Lancaster; eight grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren. The funeral will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, November 24, 2018 at Ramsey-Young Funeral Home with Darrell Estes officiating. Visitation will be held 4 PM-8 PM Friday, November 23, 2018 at Ramsey-Young Funeral Home. Burial will be at Jordan Cemetery.
